About the Boot Camp
Join us for an interactive lesson on Microsoft's PowerShell. The topics to be discussed include:
- General PowerShell commands- How to create a PowerShell script from basic PowerShell commands
- Moving files with PowerShell
- Using task scheduler to automate PowerShell scripts
- Browsing the windows event viewer with PowerShell
- Validating windows update patch installation
- General programming logic and algorithms
- Querying windows services
- Interacting with windows services
This is an interactive lesson in which you will follow along with the instructor. In order to participate please ensure you are able to:
- Launch PowerShell with administrator privilages
- Browse their event viewer and start/stop services on their machine
- Use windows 10/11 or have a server grade operating system
